My Story

Real estate has not been a lifelong vocation for me but rather the culmination of many successful careers and vocations. After selling two businesses in Port Townsend, I was ready for the next chapter in my business life. Encouraged by friends in the local real estate business, I decided to dive into real estate—a field that allowed me to continue doing what I’ve always loved: helping people. Throughout my career, whether in customer service, sales, or owning businesses, I’ve always focused on making a positive impact on people’s lives. Real estate provided a new set of challenges, which I embraced wholeheartedly.

What I’ve come to realize is that my relationship with clients goes far beyond transactions. Buying or selling a home is one of the most significant life changes people experience, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is to ensure that the process is smooth and positive. While that’s a lofty goal, I know that things don’t always go perfectly, so I work with grace and humor to keep the process moving forward. I believe in going above and beyond, whether that means handling the expected details or stepping up during difficult times—because, at the end of the day, it’s about doing what’s right for my clients.

I’m deeply passionate about the community I serve. Port Townsend and the surrounding areas are more than just markets to me—they’re my home. That’s why I’ve been involved with the Port Townsend Main Street Board, the Chamber of Commerce, the Farmers Market, and advocacy through the Jefferson County Association of Realtors and the Washington Realtors Association. To me, realtors aren’t just people who help buy and sell homes—we are experts and leaders in our communities. I believe in fostering strong ethics and encouraging others in the industry to lead with the same values.

With a diverse background that includes international travel and living abroad, corporate roles, advocacy work, and industries ranging from electronic security to food service, I bring a unique perspective to my work. My greatest achievement is living a full, experience-rich life that allows me to approach each client with understanding, empathy, and a commitment to positive outcomes for everyone.
